UNBELIEVABLE
CARPET SPOT AND STAIN REMOVER
"Spots and stains never come back"
Here's the simple to use neutral pH spotter that every contract cleaner,
hospital/ carpet cleaner and householder should have at the ready - for
every type of carpet.
UNBELIEVABLE, as the name suggests gives you an incredibly wide range
of stain removing power at the pull of a trigger.
Normally high alkaline cleaners are necessary to obtain the same
results as UNBELIEVABLE. Stains usually return when other spotters are
used. Not with UNBELIEVABLE.
Works on Greasy/Oily Stains
Using gentle fluoro carbon ingredients, plus solvents, UNBELIEVABLE
gently solubilises oily spots as well as hard to shift lipstick, printer toner
and even some inks. A protective stain Mocker prevents these from
returning.
Protein stains like gravy, eggs, and blood.
After sponging with cold water, fresh blood, gravy and other food
products like Vegemite and mayonnaise are pulled out.
UNBELIEVABLE is
especially useful for medicines found in hospitals and nursing homes.
Acidic stains-some tannin, coffee and tea. These are the hardest stains for a general spotter to remove. However,
UNBELIEVABLE takes on this challenge with the addition of special
absorbent fluoro polymers, which break the bond that tannin has to the
fibre. Whilst not able to remove every stain in this category, it removes a
high proportion. (The RESEARCH PRODUCTS spotting kit is the best
acquisition for the professional cleaner and contains four specialty pre-
extraction spotters).
WoolSafe Approved
The WoolSafe organisation runs an international testing and approvals
program for cleaning products used on wool carpets. Up to 16 tests are
completed to ensure that approved products are colour safe and cannot
harm wool fibres. We proudly display the WoolSafe logo on the
UNBELIEVABLE product label. If it’s safe on wool, it’s safe on any fibre.
RESTORE
Heavy Duty Soil Breaker System for extra dirty carpet
The Need for Restore
Some of the heavily soiled and stained carpet out there just won’t come clean without a fight. Split
seams, colour bleeding and de-lamination are just a few of the problems associated with cleaning
these types of carpet with a wet extraction method. You along with the Dry Fusion System can give
extra dirty carpets the knockout punch, using the gentle, neutral Ph Dry Fusion approach.
Tough and almost impossible to clean fibres, like old stage – one nylons, yellowed traffic lanes on
olefin carpet as well as trashed, sugar laden pub carpet or deeply stained restaurant carpet can all
be “no fear “ targets for the Restore System.
Filthy commercial carpet, Axminsters and even Belgian Wilton will clean with minimal effort. The
Restore system will provide you with the competitive edge that makes the Dry Fusion the only
system you will ever need – on any carpet except Flotex.
What is the Restore System?
The Restore System is a brand new, high performance soil breaker prespray that combines with the
Restore brush, a high performance cast aluminium soft nylon carpet brush, to offer a remarkable
cleaning performance increase.
In combination, these two new products also give you improved speed of completion and the extra
cutting power through tough build-up and blackened sugar stains. Carpets will be left cleaner, drier
and fresher, with the minimal of inconvenience to your customer because the carpet will be dry in
around half an hour as normal.
Targeted to make your job easier, faster as well as to beat any competition.
Since Dry Fusion was introduced to the UK, just over three years ago, we have built an enviable
reputation with commercial property managers, householders and institutions because our system
cleans carpet brilliantly, is guaranteed to be dry within 30 minutes, leaves a clean fresh smell and
stays cleaner longer. Not like any wet cleaning method you have experienced.
We have risen rapidly in the marketplace from No 8 to No 2 in this time against companies that
have been dry cleaning carpet for 25 years.
Carpet mills and carpet specifiers have instantly recognised our low moisture performance and
safety to fibres the Dry Fusion System offers. The hundreds of Fusioneers around the country are
officially the specified cleaners for a number of carpet brands in the UK – because it really works.
Here is how to blow away any wet cleaning system.
Pre Spray and Pre Scrub
Step 1.
Dilute Restore 1 part to 4 parts water. (1 LTR to 4 LTRS water = 5 LTRS solution) in your pre spray
tank. On extremely matted or black sugar laden carpet in hotels or pubs use hot water to dilute.
Where blood is present always wear waterproof gloves and use cold water.
Pre-spray evenly across the soiled areas allowing the pre-spray to penetrate and soften the heavy,
even tarry looking build-up.
Using the Restore brush, fitted to the Dry Fusion machine, agitate the carpet east to west and
north to south. This will help open up the fibres and loosen the soil. Spray more pre-spray if the
carpet is drying out. Remember to turn off your heater when using the Restore brush
Step 2.
Using a Dry Fusion textile pad soak and squeeze in either your standard hot 1 to 4 solution of
ACTIVATOR or BACTOSHIELD. Apply the pad to the carpet as normal, changing frequently
(approx 10 – 15 square metres) so as to pick up as much of the loosened deposits and stains.
On heavily soiled carpets you will need to reverse the pad and re clean the area. Remember; never
put a soiled pad in your clean solution! The shot of steam can also be very useful in this scenario of
heavy soil removal when using the carpet pads.
On some carpets you may find that there is so much soil slurry that dry or water moistened red
white and blue Dry Fusion pads are required just to carry it off the carpet prior to using
ACTIVATOR / BACTOSHIELD.
Pile rake the carpet to keep an even appearance and to ensure drying is within minutes as per
normal.
* Note: Always use your older pads to clean filthy carpet as they can become very difficult to re
clean.
* On pub or restaurant carpets BACTOSHIELD is ideal because it kills old beer and protein food odours. Sell this concept to your customers.
The Dry Fusion Difference
Restore soil Breaker contains all the high performance ingredients you have come to expect from
the dry carpet cleaning technological leader.
All Dry Fusion cleaning products including RESTORE contain fluoro resin stain protectors, fibre
lubricants and polymer stain blocking resins to ensure dust and grit is easily removed by vacuuming
and that more stains are removed by the system.
Don’t be fooled by smart sales talk. There is no other range of cleaning products in the market you
can substitute to achieve the same long term stay – clean results, without pile distortion and
without risk to your machine’s warranty. Other non-detergent cleaners claim to be the same, but
they cause pile distortion and increase amp draw up by 30% without offering any stain prevention
benefits.
In effect, they are very expensive substitutes.
Remember Dry Fusion System is the only system that cleans, protects, heat dries and deodorises in
one process
ACTIVATOR
CLEANER, STAIN BLOCKER, DEODORISER, DRYER
PART OF THE LATEST SYSTEM OF DRY CLEANING AND PRESERVING THE NEW APPEARANCE OF CARPET
WHAT IS IT FOR?
Dry Fusion ACTIVATOR has been carefully developed as the key building block of a totally new
concept of Dry Carpet Cleaning.
The Dry Fusion System uses an innovative and patented rotary cleaning machine that heats both
the cleaning pad and Activator solution to provide an amazing cleaning and stain removal action.
When this is combined with odour neutralisation, dust, dirt and spill repellent activity the
breakthrough in performance is remarkable.
CARPET PROTECTION & STAIN BLOCKING – HOW DO THEY WORK?
Our research into the area of fluoro surfactants, fluoro stain protectors and polymer blocking
resins has enabled us to produce a cleaning system that removes far more stains than other dry or
wet methods - as well as to dramatically increase overall stain repellency.
Dry Fusion ACTIVATOR contains two actives to help prevent wet and dry soil and stain pickup.
(1) FLUOROCARBON RESIN This specialty forms an invisible shield over every
carpet fibre during the cleaning process. It helps prevent dry grit, dust as well as wet spills from
lodging within the carpet fibres. Even walked in mud and greasy spills have difficulty in seeping in.
Because less soil clings to carpet that has been Dry Fusion cleaned, vacuuming removes more soil
and pushing the vacuum cleaner becomes easier.
Carpets will stay brighter looking, because frequent vacuuming removes more soil. Resoiling and fast
“greying off” just doesn’t happen.
(2) BLOCKING STAINS This unique additive helps block dye sites in the fibre that
normally allow food spills and beverages becoming ugly stains. Carpets cleaned with Dry Fusion allow
time to wet a white towel with warm water and wipe away a spill, before it has time to soak in.
Certain food dyes in pet food, some Indian, Asian food and some soft drinks cannot be protected.
Dry Fusion is working towards giving customers complete dye stain protection in the near future.
By producing a more constant heat contact with the carpet than any other cleaning system, plus the
high temperature “shot of steam” for heavy oily or soil stained areas, most stains and food and
drink spills come off easily. The pH of ACTIVATOR is totally safe and neutral and is approved by all
carpet manufacturers.
APPEARANCE RETENTION/SOFT CARPET FEEL, THE BENEFITS SUMMARY
Because of the unique functionality of the Activator solution, treated carpets smell fresher. Dry
Fusion cleaned carpet keep their “just cleaned” look longer, especially if vacuumed regularly (daily in
commercial with an upright vacuum, twice weekly in the home). The “after clean” finish gives “hard”
commercial carpet a soft feel to hand and a soft natural sheen not dissimilar to the feel and shine
of a cashmere pullover.
SYSTEMS APPROACH – IT IS PERFECT
In simple terms the Dry Fusion System has taken the best advantages of Hot water extraction
cleaning (hot solution, “shot of steam”) and improves it further by making it continuously hot. It
takes the best features of dry cleaning (low moisture, mechanical agitation) and combines them
together.
By removing the worst features of steam cleaning (wet results, too long to dry, recurring stains)
and the worst features of current dry cleaning methods (not clean enough, fast resoiling) the Dry
Fusion System gives you a system with no negatives.
FOCUSSED ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Dry Fusion was developed due to consumer research showing that recipients of carpet cleaning
services in industrial, commercial, institutional and domestic markets had shown a poor level of
satisfaction of extraction methods due to slow drying and recurring stains. They are looking for
something better.
Our blue print was to develop a super quiet and a super dry system that allowed carpets to be
cleaned in offices and factories and shops whilst people were still at work; the system alleviating
the need for costly after hours security, air conditioning, heating and power. You can clean carpet
without fear of wetting.
HOW TO GET THE BEST FROM THE SYSTEM
Preparation: Vacuum all the carpet and move furniture if practicable to allow easier access to
carpet.
EXTRA HEAVY SOILAGE
Rather than use a stronger solution or apply too much solution via the pads that could overwet the
fibres we recommend prespraying. Use a 1 to 4 solution ACTIVATOR at the rate of approximately
500 ml per 20 sq metres (average size bathroom). This, if given 5 minutes to activate will improve
the stain and soil removing performance and not affect drying time.
NORMAL TO HEAVY SOIL
Accurately measure and add to one side of your twin tank wringer press 1 part ACTIVATOR to 4
parts extremely hot water (500 ml to 2 litres).
Wearing gloves, take your 460 mm (18”) Dry Fusion Pad and dip into the hot solution, wringing out to
almost dry and place it onto the heaviest soil area. Quickly wheel the Dry Fusion machine fitted
with the aluminium drive plate and spread the moisture in the pad by moving side to side to an area
approximating 10 sq metres (East to West). Don’t let the machine rest on the pad prior to starting
as it can overwet the patch. Next, move the machine across the direction of the previous pass to
clean the other side of the fibre (North to South).
IMPORTANT: Change pads approximately every 15 to 20 sq metres – depending on the soiling of
the carpet.
Keep repeating the padding process, double or even triple passing and heeling the machine on heavily
stained areas and to assist drying.
Machinery fitted with “Shot of Steam”. Fill bottles with 1 to 4 ACTIVATOR – apply to heavily
stained areas drying out only. Do not use this as the only method of applying ACTIVATOR solution –
pads must be soaked and changed regularly.
A dry pad can be used on over just treated carpet if too much moisture, never use a dry pad on
Olefin (Polypropylene) fibres
DRYING FUNCTION
The Dry Fusion machine can be used to dry off heavily worked areas immediately by using the
direct hot air blower. Ask for instruction by your trainer.
STAIRS
Dry vacuum, then spray apply 1 to 4 solution. Using Dry Fusion Vibra Dry or Hand Mitts rotating
similar to the machine method to remove soil.
UPHOLSTERY AND MATTRESS CLEANING
Vacuum upholstery first to remove dust. Apply ACTIVATOR prespray diluted 1 to 4 in carpet
prespray unit. Only dampen the surface and allow a few minutes to activate. Soak and wring your
Hand Mitt and scrub the upholstery in a rotary manner paying attention to edges and corners. If
necessary on dirty arms or head rests a second application may be required.
FINISHING EDGES
Use a Doodle Bug and an Edging Pad or Dry Fusion Hand Pads. Always use a pile rake on cut pile or
Axminster to help lift pile, resist shading and speed drying.
